Registration is now open for the 2026 Summer Seminar in Healthcare Ethics.

The University of Washington Department of Bioethics & Humanities is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Summer Seminar in Healthcare Ethics, a 3.5-day virtual program designed to explore ethical challenges in clinical care.

Held August 3–6, 2026, the seminar brings together healthcare professionals, educators, and trainees for an intensive learning experience focused on ethical analysis in healthcare settings. Participants engage with expert faculty through lectures, case-based discussions, and small-group sessions that examine real-world dilemmas in clinical practice.

The seminar is designed for physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, attorneys, educators, and others working in healthcare or patient-care environments. The program also offers opportunities for continuing education, with CME and IPCE credits available for an additional cost.
