How to enroll your child

Because our study aims to provide support to families and primary care doctors, children must be referred to the study by their primary care provider. When your child completes treatment in CATTS, your child's primary care doctor or provider will resume your child’s care. CATTS will keep your child's primary care provider informed of your child’s progress throughout the study.

Steps to enroll your child:

1

Print the CATTS Enrollment Packet and give to your doctor

2Talk to your child's doctor about the study. If your child's doctor thinks the study is a good fit for your child, give him or her the CATTS Enrollment Packet and ask your doctor to refer your child to the study.

Once we receive your referral information from your child's doctor, we will contact you to begin the study screening process. During the study screening process, you will complete questionnaires about your child’s moods and behaviors so we can determine if the study is a good fit for your child.

The CATTS treatment sessions are free of charge. However, families must pay for their medications.

CATTS is fully funded by the National Institute of Mental Health in Washington DC. No drug company money is sponsoring the study.
