Frances Biderman (she/they) | D Center Manager

Frances has a Master of Public Administration from Gallaudet University and a proud UW alumni with a Bachelor in Psychology. As a Deaf person fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), Frances has been heavily involved in disability advocacy work for the past 10 years. She is passionate about igniting with change agents and collectively work towards equity and justice. With your support, Frances look forward to see D Center come to fruition!

Regina Setiawan (she/her) | Social Media

Regina is majoring in Economics. She is an international student from Indonesia, where she volunteered for disability organizations and was a teacher at different orphanages. These memorable volunteering helped her with practical experience in supporting people with disabilities and an understanding of the policies and systems that impact their lives. She strives to raise awareness about disability issues and educate others about the challenges and strengths of individuals with disabilities. The ultimate goal is to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all.

Robin Templeton (they/them) | Outreach

Robin is majoring in Cinema & Media Studies. They are a self-advocating autistic person who strives to tell stories and educate about disability and/or queerness through creating various forms of content, such as social media posts, documentaries, and short films. They enjoy working with Huskies for Neurodiversity and hanging out with Autistics @ UW.

Victoria Zdanewicz (she/her) | Communications

A feminine looking person smiling forwards, wearing white top with blue overalls and floral tree is in the backgroundVictoria is majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology as well as minoring in Spanish. She began working with the Disabled community during high school as a buddy in a gym class for neurodivergent students with physical and mental disabilities. She helped organize the Special Olympics, and knew that she wanted to continue working with the Disabled community after seeing how vibrant it was. Victoria’s interest has translated into her undergraduate years where she has been a part of Best Buddies since her freshman year, and have intertwined fundraising for organizations that support neurodivergent individuals, along with pushing a sorority on campus to disband their work with an ableist organization which ended up working its way toward a national level. All of this experience has culminated into Victoria working to fortify the D Center as a student worker.

The D Center, its programming, and amenities are all sponsored by the Husky Union Building, Services and Activities Fee, and the Student Tech Fee.
