The UW School of Medicine is preparing new clinicians to practice during a period of expected rapid changes in medicine. A just-completed curriculum review has resulted in innovations in teaching students to critically analyze new research findings and their application to medical practice, while at the same time strengthening training in traditional clinical and communication skills.
