The Firland Northwest Tuberculosis Center was founded in 2013 with funding from the Firland Foundation.  We are a University of Washington Center of Excellence, operating within the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine.

Our mission is:
–To support and promote TB elimination efforts throughout the Pacific Northwest by disseminating best practices for clinical care, supporting community-based projects, and providing educational opportunities.

The Firland Northwest Tuberculosis Center will develop as a knowledge repository for tuberculosis inquiries at the University of Washington.
