Evolving concepts of diagnosis and management of latent TB infection:
World Tuberculosis Day Symposium, March 24th, 2014

On Monday, March 24th, 2014 we celebrated World TB Day.  With approximately one hundred people in attendance at the World TB Symposium in Seattle, entitled Evolving concepts of diagnosis and management of latent TB infection, we received an array of positive feedback on its success.  Attendees appreciated the variety of topics addressing latent TB infection, and applauded all three dynamic speakers, David Horne, MD, MPH, David Koelle, MD, PhD, and Alexandra Molnar, MD.  The program ended with a case presentation and panel discussion led by Masa Narita, MD and David Park, MD.

This symposium was sponsored by the Firland Northwest Tuberculosis Center as our
debut event.
