TEACHING
In my teaching and mentoring, I aim
to foster students’ skills in communicating about science,
and
in using mathematical and experimental approaches to identify and
address
key biological questions.
I have worked
extensively with non-traditional students, and look forward to
working with returning and first-generation students in the sciences.
My recent teaching projects include
developing and teaching courses in:
-Honors Introductory
Biology: Ecology and Evolution
-Epigenetics
(reading
list)
-Advanced Cell Biology
I have also served as a
teaching assistant for:
-Ecology
-Evolutionary Biology
-Game Theory
-Animal Biology
- Anatomy and Physiology
-Comparative
Anatomy
I have mentored several undergraduate students, and served on the
dissertation committee for a graduate student in Statistics.
