Location and Travel:

The conference will be held at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center in Lake Arrowhead, California. The clostest airport in at Ontario, California (listed as one of the airports serving Los Angeles). A number of airlines service the city, in some cases with direct flights from major hubs in the United States. Ontario is about a one hour drive from Arrowhead. Some participants may prefer to fly into LAX in order to spend some time in Los Angeles. The drive from LAX is approximately 2.5 hours. Those planning car rental should look into a package tied into the airfare, as this can result in great cost savings.

For participants who are not planning to drive, arrangements will be made for van or bus transportation from Ontario to Arrowhead sometime Sunday afternoon and then back down on Wednesday after lunch. Please indicate on the registration form if you are considering this option. Some of the people coming from the East Coast or from overseas may not be able to arrive early enough on Sunday to get up to Arrowhead in time and will need to arrive Saturday. I will be glad to help work out hotel reservations in Ontario.
