Washington State Early Learning and Development Benchmarks

he Department of Early Learning (DEL) has added a new section on its Web site about the Washington State Early Learning and Development Benchmarks. These are research-based early learning guidelines that are helpful in understanding what young children may know and do at different ages. This is a resource document and must be used with the knowledge that every child develops as an individual in the context of her family, culture and community.It includes links to many resources, including:
