Abstract: In the course of this project, the University will conduct a literature search of mycorrhizal associations of species commonly used in restoration, develop a research proposal and initiate a research project in the Sunrise Ecological restoration area to study the health of plants in the revegetated areas, propose functions or attributes that can be monitored to determine in the restored areas are functioning as adjacent pristine areas, and propose a list of monitoring variables.
