Abstract: An environmental history of San Juan Island National Historical Park will explore the historical as well as natural forces that have shaped the park’s landscape. The study will provide park managers with a better understanding of the relationship between the park’s historical and natural scenes. The project will be part of an interdisciplinary approach to resource management, especially since preserving the park’s cultural and natural resources often coincides. (Renumbered J9088010020.)
