Abstract: The goal of this research to understand intergroup differences in spatially assigned cultural ecosystem service composition and intensity in the Salmon River Basin (SRB), as well as perceptions of change related to those social values.

Achieving the following three objectives will support that goal:

1) Center indigenous value systems and ways of knowing within the effort through communityoutreach and flexible research design.

2) Administer a rigorous, representative, and inclusive Public Participatory Geographic Information System (PPGIS) survey of SRB residents, visitors, and stakeholders.

3) Develop robust social science dataset in Social Values for Ecosystem Services (SolVES) modeling and Ecosystem Services Elasticity (ESE) related publications and presentations.
