Abstract: The objective is to obtain definitive documentation of grizzly bears in the North Cascades ecosystem (US), and to learn as much as we can about each one from any grizzly bear samples. This project will at the same time be an opportunity to evaluate the use of dogs for this purpose, and will contribute toward the on-going development of DNA monitoring technology.
