Abstract: The project objective is to survey and document breeding activities of the western snowy plover in beach and dune habitats on Coos Bay District lands as part of the larger coordinated Oregon Coast Western Snowy Plover Monitoring Program. The monitoring program evaluates nest successes and failures to determine the number of young recruited annually into the population. (Note: In 2009 BLM project number changed to L08AC13563).
