Stars of HOPE®, a community-based therapeutic art program run by the New York Says Thank You Foundation (NYSTY), is looking for intrepid student leaders to create and coordinate the creation of hope in their communities. For the past thirteen years, NYSTY has empowered people to use their creativity to promote recovery and resilience in communities affected by natural and man-made disasters, from the Parkland shooting to Hurricane Harvey to the current COVID crisis. You’ll mobilize your community to design stars (and design some yourself). We’ll create banners for the front-line and essential workers in your communities. Together, we can express gratitude and create sparks of hope when we need them the most. Create. Empower. Heal.
