Come and hear from a variety of alumni from Teach from America to see how as a science major, TFA can be a great and fulfilling experience and pathway into whatever you desire to do next. Alumni currently in medical school and PhD will be attendance to speak about how it benefitted them in their process of graduate exploration. Location: Tuesday, January 14 – 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Hitchcock Hall 132 Program Basics: All academic majors and backgrounds accepted to promote a diverse teaching corps. Regional placement is not random; applicants preference location in our 48 regions. All grade levels (preK-12) and subjects including ELL and SpEd. Salary ranging from $25,500-$51,000 a year with health insurance and retirement benefits. Possible Americorps Education Award of $11,100 and loan deferment/forbearance.
