The Nick of Time Foundation at the University of Washington invites you to join their RSO if you are pre-med, pre-dent, pre-nursing, or anyone looking to get involved on campus and volunteer in the community.
The Nick of Time Foundation is a local non-profit dedicated to educating schools, athletes, families, and communities about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and death in young people. They provide low-cost heart screenings for young athletes and spread awareness about SCA. Through partnership with the Nick of Time Foundation, the RSO provides community service opportunities for our members throughout the year. Much of the volunteering comes in the form of teaching CPR and AED use to the general public and helping promote the foundation’s mission. There are also opportunities to network with various doctors and medical students involved with the foundation.
