American Indian/Alaskan Native Medical School Admissions Workshop

The 2019 Medical School Application Workshop put on in partnership with Oregon Health and Science University, Washington State University, and University of Washington will be held in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, May 4th. This is a one day event designed for American Indian and Alaskan Native pre-medical students who are actively preparing to apply to medial school with in the next two years.

Competitive travel scholarships are available

This workshop will comprehensively review the medical school admissions process and interview experience. Topics discussed include: practical tips for writing the personal statement, requesting letters of recommendation, mock medical school interviews, and tips of applying to medical school.

AI/AN pre-med students within 2 years of applying to medical school are eligible for this event and competitive travel scholarships are available.

Application for this workshop is now open and due March 1st, 2019.
