Henrik Venter

Hello there! My name is Hendrik Venter, and I am a junior transfer student from Seattle Central College. I was born and raised in South-Africa. My lifelong dream has always been to study at a world-class institution such as the University of Washington. At UW, my goal is to be submerged in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and pursue every opportunity that will come along my way. For years, I have looked up to brilliant influential scientists like Richard Feynman, Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, Richard Dawkins, Sara Seager, Michio Kaku, Lawrence Krauss, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Michelle Thaller. I believe that it is now my time to become part of the scientific community and help advance and research the many diverse fields of science and engineering. I hope to learn as much as I can from all of the students and professors on campus. It is going to be a wonderful journey. Live long and prosper my fellow scientists!
