Hello SPARK Community Partners!
See below for information about registering for SPARK’s June webinar featuring Kevin Pelphrey, PhD. Dr. Pelphrey will discuss his experiences as the father of a daughter and son with autism and how these experiences have shaped his work as a scientist.
Dr. Pelphrey is a neuroscientist whose focus is on discovering the brain basis of autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. He is a Carbonell Family Professor and director of the Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Institute at George Washington University and Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC and Virginia. Dr. Pelphrey is working to develop tools based on biology for both the early detection of autism and the development of individually tailored treatments.
As a reminder, these monthly webinars are free to families who are registered with SPARK, and are also free for our Community Partners.
