A new mom!
Shafiqa (left, class of '93) returned for a visit bearing precious gifts --her baby! She is a proud mom now, but hopes to get back to her duties as a lawyer as soon as she is able. Shafiqa also runs a business that offers services
for Afghan Weddings. She resides in Hawaii with her husband who teaches at
the university. (Hale)

Jeff is now serving in the U.S. Marines while continuing to work on his online degree at the U.W. Jeff stopped by just after boot camp and then returned to his unit in San Diego the next day. He hopes to become an international journalist. (Franklin) |
We are very proud of Angelique C (class of '91) who completed a degree in Arts Administration at the U.W. She secured a government job that took her all over Europe. Here she is in front
of the Louvre in Paris.
