Reading 3

Read the following passage and then answer the five questions on the right.

Olav is from Russia. He’s studying in an English language program. He is very interested in every subject, but he’s especially interested in grammar. He likes to study every page in the textbook to get more knowledge. He listens in class and does his homework every night. Olav and his girlfriend disagree about the amount of time he spends studying. She thinks that Olav spends too much time studying. He needs to spend more time using his English. She also disagrees about the usefulness of textbooks. Textbooks are not the only way to study; other media can help him improve also. Why doesn’t Olav listen to more TV or go to see movies?
