Read feedback about last year's All Star Chamber Music Weekend from participants:

From 2008:

My students had a blast at this event, not to mention receiving a ton of great instruction. Every student that participated in your clinic played at our regional solo/ensemble and received superior ratings! Many of these students continued onto the state competition where they received additional superior ratings. This is a great event! Thanks for putting it on.

Thank you for the experience. I enjoyed all aspects of the event, and it was definitely worth the trip.
The best parts about the camp were my experiences with Allen Vizzutti in the masterclasses and Dave Kappy in the sextet.

Thank you so much for inviting me to this event. This is really the first gathering that I've been to of this nature, with exceptional students from a number of schools getting together to play classical music, and I'd have to say that it was an experience I'll remember. Everything seemed extraordinarily well-planned, from the food to the concert programs to the certificates. Michael Brockman was simply incredible to work with - I learned so much not just about the intricacies of my horn but the nature of music itself. The hours that I spent at the UW this weekend could not have been put towards a more productive or enjoyable experience. Thank you again. I hope that you are able to continue this program so that students in the future may also experience the great rewards that come with such a fine opportunity.

This weekend was amazing! I cannot tell you how appreciative I am to have had the opportunity to work with all of these great people! I especially was happy that I had the opportunity to work with Professor Brockman as well as Nichole Barnes. I enjoyed everything about the camp and it was also great to have the opportunity to listen to everything you and the other professors had to say about finding a college and choosing the right profession. You truly inspired me and I hope I will get to work with you many more times in the future!

I thought that the greatest part of the weekend was how small and laidback it was. It is a huge contrast to the typical honor band event. It was great to chat with faculty and grad students, and the info session afterwards was excellent. The spontaneity of the events was awesome!

I want to let you know how much I enjoyed the event. The staff was great and I was able to meet the professors and get feedback on All Northwest. The opportunity of playing in a woodwind ensemble was fantastic and made me want to take the path of music even more than I already did. Another thing that was great was the BBQ on both days! It really made me feel like everyone was one big family. I hope you will keep this event up next year because it has just been such a great experience in my life! :)
