The Iowa Communications Network (ICN) was developed to provide a statewide fiber-optic network with point of presence in all of Iowa's 99 counties. Today, every Iowan is within 15 miles of one of the state's 600 interactive video sites. The ICN connects schools, hospitals, libraries, higher education institutions, and state agencies across Iowa.
