The call for art for the Viking Union Gallery’s annual juried exhibition Beyond Borders has been extended. Cash prizes totaling $1,500 will be awarded at the reception.
What is Beyond Borders?
Beyond Borders is a juried exhibition by the Viking Union Gallery that showcases outstanding artwork by Fine Art students in the western United States and Canada in order to stimulate dialogue among new artists, their peers, and the established art community.

When is the show?
The show will run February 21st-March 10th, 2017. The reception (when awards will be presented) will be March 9th from 6-8PM in the Viking Union Gallery (VU 507).
About the Viking Union Gallery
The Viking Union Gallery is a student-curated exhibition space sponsored by Western Washington University’s Associated Student Productions. Our primary focus is to contribute to the artistic culture of Bellingham’s community while promoting the artwork of Western’s student and regional artists. We’re located in room 507 on the fifth floor of the Viking Union Building on the Northwestern corner of Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.
