Calling All Artists!
Looking for artwork of all mediums to be featured in a contemporary art exhibition at the Museum of Northwest Art (MoNA) in La Conner. The exhibit, Standing Still, features artwork centering around the topic of COVID-19 and uses storytelling to elicit empathy. We are looking for art with all or some of the following themes: resilience, community, struggle, and loss. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in a virtual interview about their art and experiences during 2020 to accompany their work.
All collaborators will receive a modest honorarium of $100
Exhibit Dates: June 29th – September 26th, 2021
Submission Deadline: February 26th, 2021
Interested candidates should submit 1-3 art pieces with artwork titles, dimensions, and a brief artist statement (up to 250 words) to hcorne@uw.edu.
