UW Student Photographer (Student Assistant) Description:
The Department of Statistics is seeking a UW student photographer who will be able to take high-quality and high-resolution photographs of the department graduation that will be happening on Friday, June 7, 2024, between 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at a UW campus location in Seattle, WA. This position will be compensated for a total amount of $600 as a one-time payment via Workday. We expect the photographer to work during the department ceremony and outside of the event to edit photos and change the format of the files.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of photography techniques. Can exhibit a good balance of creativity and technical expertise.
- Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
- Proficient with photo production equipment and photo editing software (i.e. photoshop or other tool that is equivalent).
- Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
- Must have their own photo production equipment (i.e. digital SLR camera would be desired) and photo editing software (i.e. photoshop or other tool that is equivalent).Application instruction:Applicants should submit the following:
