Compensation: $21/hr
Contemporary mosaic studio looking to hire motivated assistants to create complex, large-scale mosaic artwork in stone and glass smalti.
Assistants will have the chance to be involved in all aspects of the mosaic process, from materials selection and design to tile cutting, placement, and adhesion. Experience with mosaic or other repetitive media (papercutting, weaving) desirable, but not mandatory. Must demonstrate a strong portfolio, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and incorporate feedback.
