The Xu lab is interested in the chemistry and biology of lipid oxidation, drug metabolism, the impact of xenobiotics on the kidney, liver, and microbiome, antibiotic resistance, and applying ion mobility-mass spectrometry to characterize the gas-phase structures of small molecules (drugs and other xenobiotics, metabolites, and lipids), peptides, and proteins.
