Are you a prospective Ph.D. student interested in joining the lab?
Thank you for your interest! Dr. Levine WILL be accepting new graduate students in 2023-24 application cycle (to begin graduate school in Fall 2024) as a primary advisor.
Sometimes applicants hear that it is a good idea to contact professors before applying to work with them. While some professors like you to do this, Dr. Levine prefers to wait until all applications have been submitted and she has had a chance to read them before speaking or e-mailing with applicants. There is no need to contact her in advance, and contacting her (or not contacting her) will not affect your application one way or another. Once Dr. Levine and the admissions committee have read all the applications, the top candidates will be contacted and invited to visit campus for an interview at our expense.
The research page and recent publications page on the lab’s website will give you a sense of the research topics that the lab studies. In addition, the UW Psychology Department website provides information about the department’s application process.
