CHN-STF “Lightning” Project Applications Open!
With generous support from the Student Technology Fee, CHN is excited to announce that once again we are able to offer funds for student-led (graduate or undergraduate) projects to obtain scanning hours at CHN.
A catch is that due to the nature of the current STF funding, all project scanning will need to be complete by June 20th, 2025. Thus we are calling this round of student-led research “Lightning” projects.
STF Grants can be used to support a wide range of student-led projects. There is no formal minimum or maximum, but awards will be typically 10-20 hours. We strongly encourage joint graduate/undergraduate collaborations. Proposals are reviewed by experts, and funding decision are made by the student led CHN-STF committee.
For questions, contact Ione Fine (ionefine)
For this round, projects should be easily completed, or ready to scan. No extensions can be made.
(Note that if you have a project idea that needs more time, applications for 2025-2026 research projects will be announced this July.)
- Application Deadline: Friday, April 4th
- Award Announcement: Friday, April 11th
