This webpage depended on a series of research, particularly interviews with money laundering investigators and professors well versed in the field. Data sets were taken from government websites as well as global organizations that actively work against money laundering.

One page scrolling websites are becoming a popular medium in the virtual world; Using this medium, this project aims to educate the user on the crime of money laundering. Interactive areas make the experience more fun and captivating.

An Exhibition On The Arts

Exhibition design combines the importance of aesthetic value and the interaction of how a viewer moves through space. This mini exhibition show cases and proves how the arts are undervalued and should not be.

The Arts Are Dead / Long Live The Arts is a theme that is playing off the double nature of arts in the USA. While the arts are not given many resources, there is a lot of data proving it is beneficial to humanity in numerous ways.

Apollo

Apollo is a Conversational User Interface (CUI) that provides a personalized learning experience by tailoring education to the students’ learning styles, preferences, and life experiences.  Students are able to utilize this cross-platform CUI on existing devices such as computers or mobile devices to make it convenient to access. This alleviates the current problem with the one format learning. Majority of high school students feel that if they don’t understand the model being taught by the teacher, they will be left behind. Apollo bridges that gap by supplementing the students’ education with extra assistance if needed, and provides teachers with information on whether or not students understand the topic.

Threadworks

Americans are stuck in an unsustainable cycle due to fast fashion; they buy clothing cheap and throw them away quickly. After extensive research in this space, we concluded that everyone would greatly benefit from repairing and repurposing their clothes, but do not have the time and resources to do so. Threadworks is a clothing makerspace where people can repair, tailor, repurpose, and sell clothing. We envision an interactive and social space that integrates technology to create an immersive experience with sustainability at the forefront.

Unfold

Unfold is an application that aims to help everyone, regardless of their needs, be able to find events. Unfold connects users to events happening in their neighborhood using a personalized recommendation system and also clearly communicates accessibility accommodations at events to create a sense of equality.
