Terrestrial Restorative Planting Practices: The Horticulture of Restoration

The use of native plants is a key ecological restoration element. Even on terribly degraded and invaded sites native plants can be established and managed to ensure the existence of native habitat and solve a plethora of other problems as well. Understanding some basic principles of restorative planting techniques is imperative to understanding landscape restoration and preservation.
