Applicability

Choosing the best planting methods and knowing what methods are available can be an essential component of a successful restoration. The appropriate technique can understood in relation to the specific invasive species you are removing and/or specific species of plant you wish to establish. These may be chosen in relation to other problems onsite including: erosion, flooding and contamination. Every situation is unique and not all techniques are applicable in the same places with the same species. See Construction and Siting Issues we started a list of available tested techniques that we know of. This list can be added to in the future to build a more complete understanding of the use of plants to solve problems and create solutions.
