Continued monitoring of the listed case study sites would add to the greater body of knowledge in restoration and plant establishment. It would be useful to document the success of these efforts utilizing native topsoils and mycorrhizal associations for plant community and ecosystem health. It may be difficult however to isolate the health or sickness of the plant community to soil life; a control site may be something that could be considered in future projects to add credibility to these practices.
