What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

Children
I see a lot of children starving. Their parents cannot afford groceries weather because they do not make enough to provide for their children or do not make anything at all. A huge amount of kids and people in general waste lots of food each day/week/month/year. Some kids are scraping down to the very end because they do not know the next time they will be eating a meal. People say a lot when they see someone waste food they day: "Kids in Africa are starving" but there are kids everywhere starving. We should all never take what we have for granted and just be thankful if we do have food on our plate.
