It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Reuse & Repurpose
Giving away clothes that you no longer wear is a really good way to repurpose them. You could give them away to your siblings, someone you know or a thrift store. Another thing that can easily be reused are store bought items that come in containers. My family and I very often keep containers and use them to store other things after using whatever was in them originally
I completely agree with this. Instead of throwing away clothes that, 1, were expensive and 2, took a lot to make, you could donate them. Donating them to local thrift stores or passing them down to your family/friends is a great way of re-purposing. And with the containers you could reuse them for years instead of throwing away and buying new ones every few months. It is a great way to reduce, reuse and recycle.
