What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

Stop ittttt
Students throwing away school food that they don't eat. This is a two way issue, it is the school's , and the student's. Some schools force the students to grab vegetables/fruit, then the student eats the main part of the meal, and just throw away sometimes completely unopened food. A way to fix this is to stop the schools from forcing students to grab something they aren't going to eat anyway. Also, stopping the students from throwing away food they aren't going to eat, and instead put it into a bucket or something to save it.
