All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

By driving a car, buying a pair of sneakers, or grilling a steak, you contribute to the emission of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. It is your carbon footprint. And this increase in greenhouse gas emissions has a direct impact on global warming.
Knowing our carbon footprint can help limit the impact of our consumption on the environment, which is why there are different methods to reduce it, such as; Consume local and seasonal products, using reusable shopping bags and avoiding products with excessive plastic packaging, using the bicycle or public transport, unplugging electronic devices and not leaving the phone plugged in when the battery is already charged, all these ideas will make you reduce your carbon footprint. carbon, and improve the environment

I agree, in my highschool we are trying to reduce our carbon footprint by using cardboard cups instead of plastic cups. We are also trying to remove the tar from the schoolyard so that some plants can grow in the schoolyard. To  make the students aware of the urge of the situation we often organize events about climate change. For example this week is "the ecological change week". I think that public spaces like schools, hotels, retirement homes, ect should try to reduce their carbon footprint.
