It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

Use water bottles or if you drink from a plastic one reuse it a couple of times before throwing it away. These are two things I mainly do.

I totally agree. Another that I have been doing to reduce plastic consumption is to use reusable sandwich bags in my lunch instead of the plastic ones you can only use once. I would recommend this to anyone that is interested in this.
