I disagree with this statement because there are types of plastic that are recyclable. Plastic does pollute our environment and also causes harm to our society by killing millions of animals per year. However, plastic is considered a staple to our environment meaning our lives would be filled with struggles without it. This is because plastic is a cheap material found in almost everything you see around. Plastic is in our economy, schools, etc. I do understand your point that we need to reduce plastic consumption, but let's become more educated about plastic and use it responsibly. This shall perfect our society.
