Now It's Time for Action!

All of you have calculated your emissions and you have surely discovered the unexpectedly high impact of some of your behaviors (eating meat, flying to a sunny destination, etc.) on your total footprints.

Are there any behaviors that you are really willing to change or to improve for the sake of the environment? What challenges do you encounter or think you will encounter while trying to change these things? What help, support, and insights from others would make your life easier with these new behaviors?

Let's discuss these issues and make our pledges here!

Reduce plastic waste.

3708

plastic waste contributes to climate change because when it breaks down it releases green house gasses. The sunlight and heat causes it to release methane and ethylene as the plastic breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces. Therefor reducing our waste it important as well as taking care of the plastic that already exist.

I can agree that i should definitely start using reusable water bottles instead of bringing the plastic ones everywhere

dog123hello

Yes I agree we can reduce plastic by many ways for example one of them as you mensioned is starting to use reusable water bottles instead of polluting plastic ones. But we have many diferent types of ways to reduce. For example another way it to reduce gas (cars and vehicles). One another way is to use your own bags when you go to a shop instead of getting those plastic ones in the cashier. We just need to get people to lissen to our ideas on how we can reduce plastic waste.
