What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

food and hunger
tooooo much food waste
I agree. I see a lot of my classmate dump the school lunch, yes, it isn't always the best, but we shouldn't be wasting the food. Producing food, farming food, and cooking food all need people to help with that. Wasting the food could also just making those meat industries emitting carbon dioxide for no reason. I think we could improve by eating the food that we like that is balanced so that we won't be emitting gases for no reason and harming the planet.
Yes, we can get the amount we know we need. And after if we think we are still hungry, we can get more. We dont have to just get everything we want and not finish it. I did a little research and found out that 0ne third of the food we eat gets thrown away, and it doesnt include the food being thrown away during the food production process
This is very much true, and sadly I am one of the people that do waste food A LOT. I now realize that we need to eat as much as we can if we take as much as we think we can eat. For example, when me and my family order food on Uber eats, my brother usually thinks he can finish two things in which is true most of the times, but sometimes it isn’t and it can cause our food to go to deep waste. So, just imagine how much food is being wasted when we include the wasted food from us, factories, restaurants, schools, and more. This is why I totally agree that we should be eating as much as possible and we should try to finish everything on our plate in order to not waste anymore.
Yes, even if you don't like what you're eating, you can still eat it, you won't get injured or die if you eat it, just force yourself because a lot of people don't even HAVE food to eat. People work hard for each process of providing food for us, and we should be thankful for that.
I agree with this we shouldn't be wasting any food approximately 828 million people world wide has been staving for the past 50year if you dont like what you have to eat think about all those people who wish they can have one bite of food so we should be grateful of what we have.
