What did you learn about dietary choices from using the footprint calculator? Now imagine that you could translate what you learned into an effective societal policy on food- what would it be? And how would this policy effect the need to alleviate world hunger?
925 million people on earth do not have enough to eat according to the FAO [Food and Agricultural Organization]. That's almost 1 in 7 inhabitants of our planet!

Don’t waste food
There are lots of people that are poor and can not afford to buy food so when you see something you don’t like, think of the poor kids that can’t even get food.
I agree with your point. Approximately 10% of people in this world are thirsty and hungry. Wasting food is like you are throwing away something that the other person treasures.Food is a treasure for most of the people, because it can help them live and also help their children and families.STOP WASTING FOOD.
I agree with you. My country is among the first in Europe when it comes to throwing away food. This makes us spend much more money and pollute the environment at the same time. People choose to buy ready-made food from the supermarket, instead of cooking it themselves, because they think it's more practical, but it's not. I think people should cook as much as they think they will eat, and if they have any left over, give it to people who really need it.
