Now It's Time for Action >
READY + WILLING TO TAKE STEPS INTO THE RIGHT DIRECTION
I'm beyond willing to take a step, and many more steps down the road to improve my environment, and reduce my carbon footprint. According to the results I received after calculating my carbon footprint, the most overused category was what happens and occurs at home. Showers, air conditioning, and heating usage deeply affected my results, and in acknowledging this, I push myself to change it for the greater good of our planet.
Reducing my shower minutes to less than five minutes, bundling up, and having to rely less on the air and heating units in my home, would undoubtedly lower my carbon footprint. Staying and being comfortable is where I find myself to be most. In such warmth from the water to the atmosphere, it would be a very big challenge that I would take on and am willing to do, to be less comfortable and more inclined to temporality be uncomfortable.
By reducing shower temperature and time, as well as not excessively relying on the heating and air conditioning; our family's overall water and energy bill costs will lower as well as reduce water usage so that we don't further contribute to another drought season.
