Our carbon footprint can negatively impact the environment in many different ways. It can increase climate change and air pollution, can lead to toxic acid rain, can add to ocean acidification, and increases the melting of icebergs and glaciers. In order to prevent or slow these things from happening, we can reduce the amount of light, transportation, and electricity usage. We can reuse papers, and everyday objects, and we can recycle more of what we know should be recycled, like cans and bottles.
