It's very tempting to throw things away or even drop them in a recycling bin when we are done with them. Is there a better way?

You should reuse materials till they have no use because it will help carbon emissions go down by a lot, using materials more than once will help you not buy as many materials and savor money as well as help your carbon footprint. Say you buy a glass bottle with lemonade in it, instead of throwing it out after drinking it wash it out and use it again now you have an extra glass you can use and can use as a water bottle instead of having to buy another bottle every time your thirsty.
