I feel that in many ways schools play a big part in the carbon emissions that are going into our atmosphere. I understand that schools have many needs seeing as there are many students and a large building to keep up with, but there are smaller ways we can reduce the amount of carbon emissions. Some things schools could do may be to use recycled paper, or putting designated scrap paper bins in classrooms for students to use. I know that when i’m jotting down notes really quickly, i usually wouldn’t need a perfectly new piece of paper. Our school already does this, but composting can be really impactful too.
