Hello, my name is Gia Pham and I am a senior at Oakland High School. It is tempting to throw everything away, however, if it is reusable then people should recycle it. Americans today may think that climate change does not exist yet they cannot fathom why the earth is getting warmer. Simple steps like the 4Rs, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle and Rot, can benefit everyone around the world. As they say, "one man's trash is another man's treasure." People why wonder what is the point of considering this concept and the reason is because we, everyone in the world, want a cleaner and better planet. This is the only planet we can live in so we should reconsider our carbon footprint in simple steps like the 4Rs can actually help better the planet.
