In my family, it's true, we don't "reuse & repurpose" our wastes. But it's never too late to begin!

I got already some ideas! Do you know you can reuse a tin to a jar of pencils? or bottles to flowerpots? (otherwise, you can buy a reusable water bottle instead of plactic ones). Reuse your bags for shopping and don't forget the selective sorting! Also, you can make old clothes more modern with your creativity!

There are endless possibilities when it comes to reusing and repurposing things that people already have. You just have to be creative enough and be conservative on what you do have. I think that your ideas area great and that if people just explore and get creative many ideas will come to them.

All of these are really good ideas. I like to reuse and repurpose food jars for holding art supplies or candles. Once my friends and I cut up old tights for art projects. Another thing you could do is donate old clothes to a charity or Goodwill, so things you no longer need can be made useful by someone else.

I completely agree! My family doesn't reuse either because we aren't in the "city limits" for my town so we don't have all the recycling that everybody else does. But I think that we definitely should start! I also work at a grocery store that uses plastic bags and a lot of people do try to bring them back to recycle them. They also will bring their own bags that way they don't have to use the plastic.

It is good that you are motivated to change your ways in your household with possible ideas to use less energy. Recycling is a prime example of using less energy and being less wasteful. Great job.

These are all awesome ideas. I know in my household we typically don't recycle much, but we do recycle aluminum cans. I believe every little bit counts. I like to look for craft ideas online that help me find ways to “up cycle” items I have around my home. Taking the little steps can create a snowball effect. I really believe with a little encouragement and brainstorming, we can all help each other find new ways to recycle.

Thats always a good idea to reuse old trash as household items. And reusing will dramatically change your carbon footprint.
